Purchased BLACK.

Well after finishing Indigo Prophecy I faced A problem I was running out of games to play, and I was looking into the Xbox Originals, and I caught sight of BLACK, that came out a couple of weeks ago. Of course since I didn't pick it up at the time, I had forgotten it even came out. Now playing the game today I am still very impressed. This game came out a couple of years ago on the original Xbox, but still this games visual style would do fine in current gen. The whole style of the game is all out impressive, the fact that when you shoot shit gets released into the air making it near impossible to shoot with any bit of accuracy, thankfully the enenmies guns spark mussel flares so you can pinpoint where to shoot. I'm way into this game once again. Anyway just thought I'd shed my thoughts on the game :)

Just Finished Indigo Prophecy(Xbox Original)

Well, I've been chipping away at this game for what feels like ages, taking it in bit by bit and finally tonight I sat down and said I'm finishing this game, and so I did, and all I can say is wow. So I'm going to write my thoughts about it. First thing I'm going to say is its worth 15$.
Just a short bit for anyone who likes it short, but for you people that like it long... haha :P sorry. Uhh anyways, for the longer version,

basically in Indigo Prophecy you play as Lucas Cane that basically is a killer, the first scene you play sets you up as a murderer and the police begin to solve the case and find out who you are but you find out there is more to this then first glance.
I don't want to go into to much detail in the story aspect because its a very well written story and its easy to giveaway information. Anyways so the best aspect of Indigo Prophecy is, like I said its story shines bright. I got very entwined into the story and always came back wanting to know the ending, There are a lot of twists and turns and it makes for an amazing story.

The game play is something that could have been made better for sure, the camera controls can get very annoying at times but most of the time its no big deal. The game is played pretty much like a movie. It is an adventure game, so the camera is obviously third person. Another complaint I have is a few of the missions that I found unnecessary and pretty much straight up crap I didn't enjoy playing them at all. But on the flip side there are many amazing control and game play mechanics. Most of the game is played using the right thumb stick as your action, so when you want to get up you tilt the right thumb stick up, just take my word for it, it fits in well, it may not sound great but its better then it sounds. As well there are cut scenes that are contact sensitive, so you will see 2 circles with colours up down left and right ( and there are 2 circles) the one on the left represents your left thumb stick and the one on your right represents your right thumb stick and they will flash like up down up down and you'll have to tilt the thumb sticks accordingly, its a lot of fun.

The graphics are passable, I mean it is an Xbox Original so don't expect marvelous graphics, its probably a little under the bar for the time of release but its not the graphics that are what you should play this game for.

The sound is very well done, there are many close quarters, spooky area's where the music kicks in just at the right time, as well when the cops are coming it changes to a track that makes you more aware and nervous, the sounds is well presented.

All in all, this game is worth the 15$ to play through the amazing story and just get to play basically a movie, but I warn you there is one level in the game that you will probably get stuck on because it is not obvious. If you have any troubles and you don't feel like searching up for a guide comment, I'll comment back and if u see 2 or more comments in the box, chances are the answers in there. I would rate this game 8.5/10 , AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Making Scotty Weep

Ok, so Scotty decided to spend way too much money on his computer, I wont go into details, lets just say he could find better things to spend THAT amount of money on.
So, in my infinite need to make people see the error of their ways, I went to ibuypower.com and shopped a comparable system and the result should make scotty want to cry.
NOTE-
This system does not have 2 things that scotty ADDED to his system, the BR drive and the physics card, also adding a monitor would be about $200 more.

Man its way to bad HD-DVD is dead i was rootin for it the whole time even though i have a PS3 (that plays blu ray) and my new PC having a blu ray drive, i would have MUCH rathered have to buy an HD DVD player its a shame, but good news.
MY NEW PC has been ordered and confirmed as is in the midst of being made.
Can't wait to play Crysis.

HDDVD Dead

So, after a short battle, HD DVD has been pronounced dead by its creator, Toshiba.

For those who dont know my position, I supported HD, mainly because it was developed by the same company that originally invented the DVD, they should know what they are doing. Unfortunately, sony just has too much money to throw around and now our movie watching souls will belong to them in next gen.

Mind you, I dont own either of the 2 formats at this point, but I was starting to toy with the idea of getting a new HD tv which would have made me want some sweet looking dvds to watch on it, and now I will probably have to drop the equivalent of a whole paycheck to get a Blu Ray player... thanks sony, you money grubbing, piece of shit manufacturing douchemonkeys.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

So, the next installment in the GH series has been announced, and I have to say this one has me really excited.

Thats right, Aerosmith is letting Activision go buck wild with their massive list of hit songs to bring us an Aerosmith themed Guitar Hero game, and it will rock. From the look of it, they are gonna have the venues be based off of the collection of stage setups the band has used over the years, of which I have personally seen 3.
It wont be a 1 band game, for those worried that it will get boring fast only playing Aerosmith songs then fear not! Bands that Aerosmith has worked with and that have been inspired by Aerosmith will also be in the game.

To celebrate this partnership Activision will be offering up a free track, THIS WEEKEND ONLY. "Dream On" by Aerosmith.

Randommess

So, Ive already been horrible at posting a couple times a week on both blogs, but thats because I am now using Firefox 3 Beta, which does not support my nifty blogging plugin.... so I will try harder.

But, I did get a new Linksys router over the weekend, its sweet... only took me an hour to rewire my network and get the beauty installed.

Also, I got a second interview at CCS (call center, dispatching), I am about to head out for that and if they offer me the job today (crosses fingers) I will be making $10/hour, which means I will be going on a gaming spree very soon!

Hey Everyone, today i'm commin at ya in like 45,000 different parts. SO lets get Started.

Yesterday I went to Cornwall to visit my grandparents, because they moved and I wanted to see their new house and since i'm out of a full time job and not partaking in a semester I had a good amount of time off :) So while I was bored on the train I took a few Pictures.

hehe, guess what I was playing on the train...?

So then I get to Cornwall and you know I looked at their house and while we were talking I get a phone call. It was from EB Games, my buddy Chris over there calls me and tells me they got 3 DS's in, and i'm like no WAY urgh had to be while I was gone, luckily he put it aside for me to pick up this morning, which there not supposed to do because its a system thats high in demand and very low quantity, but ya. So of course this morning, I went to pick it up yay NOW ONTO Advance Wars!

Next I just wanna let you all know I have all sorts of new games, I picked up a bunch this week, earlier on I picked up Battlefield 2142 off EA story, Direct download, and then I picked up The Matrix Online off Direct Download, despite the bad reviews its a pretty good game, only it took like 4 hours to upday -_-, and then this morning I picked up Supreme Commander(PC), and C&C3(360).

Last issue of buisness since this videos gonna be like 3/4's of the page I decided to add on a little footage of GH 3 We Three Kings on Hard, it was going towards another video so I decided to just upload the whole raw gameplay.

Turok Demo FINALLY Available on XBLM

So, the Turok demo is now on the marketplace in North America, and what a great game this is shaping up to be! The graphics are beautiful and aw-inspiring. The sound is really good also, with voice acting sounding nice, and all the other stuff is up to par too (guns, walking though puddles and such, dinosaurs).

The guns are what I enjoyed the most, you can pretty much dual wield anything your dark heart desires...

SMG+PISTOL? Yes!

SMG+SMG? Yes!

SMG+SHOTGUN? Yes!!

SHOTGUN+SHOTGUN? HELL YES!!!!

To make you drool some more, the shotguns are automatic, you hold the trigger and those puppies fire till empty.

Not to be forgotten, you have a knife and a bow/arrows in your arsenal as well. The knife allows for some brutal up close killing when your feeling a little nasty.
Gameplay is fun, you get to go around in these caves, then you run into some dinos, you get to kill them, then you make it outside for a couple bigger battles.

I limited decriptors for those who dont want their demos ruined for them, thats very basic... I could go into detail, but I wont.

So, try this one out, it doesnt dissapoint... unless you expect every demo to come with multiplayer function.

On a side note, I started using my personal blog again, after 2 years away. Its got some other functionality that I liked, and I will try and blog her and there at least twice a week a piece.

Chernobyl.

Ok... Im stuck, in Chernobyl, with an M21 and a silenced USP .45. I have exactly 20 minutes to evacuate, and there are 4 Mi-8 Hips bearing down on me, with several tangos dropping from the back. Oh yeah.... did I mention the infinite amount of enemies spawning in front of me.

If you couldn't tell, the game I'm talking about is Call of Duty 4. the game that was touted to be better than Halo 3. It lives up to every bit of that statement, and beyond.

Lemme just go quickly through a run down here. The games starts you off as a guy named 'Sopa' McaTavish, who is fresh out of the British SAS selection. Your first mission, and subsequent mission deal with finding several surplus Russian nuclear warheads, bound for the Middle East.

Act I of the game also throws you into the shoes of Sgt. Paul Jackson, who happens to be part of the Marine 1st Force Recon. As Jackson you are sent into the Middle East to capture Kaled Al-Asad, who is attempting to do something really bad. During the assault on the capital city where Al-Asad was supposed to be, you and the rest of your squad are takes with rescuing a stranded M1A2 Abrams tank. Close to what appears to be the end of the conflict, a AH-1 SuperCobra is shot down, and you are tasked with rescuing the pilot, having just heard the alarming news that a nuclear device may be in the city. After rescuing the pilot, the nuclear warhead is detonated. and you and the rest of your squad, along with your CH-56 SeaKnight are downed.

A chilling scene follows, where you, as Jackson, are still able to crawl from the remains of your downed chopper. Looking around all you see is an eerie orange and the bodies of your comrades, strewn across the ground. To your right, a building crumbles. But as you turn toward the left, the immediately recognizable form of a mushroom cloud looms off in the distance. You stand, and walk towards it, only to fall victim to radiation poisoning. End of level, and of Paul Jackson.

This game managed to surprise me in ways I didn't think were possible. Anyone thinking of purchasing it, do so. NOW!

Plus, who doesn't want the chance to operate an AC-130U gunship as it orbits high above the battlefield, raining down shells of doom.

More Demo Winsauce!

So, the Devil May Cry 4 demo was released on the marketplace today, I have already tried it out, and I must say it is a beautiful game. The graphics are very nice, and the sound is awesome. It has a rock soundtrack with some otherworldly sounding music mixed in for ambiance. Very fun gameplay, with very intuitive controls, you can do an assortment of moves to banish demons back to hell.
There are 2 modes of demo play, a boss battle and part of a level.
I was just blown away by the overall experience found in this game, its very fun to play. Once you get used to the way you can work out combos its enjoyable to mix it up and see what kind of moves you can pull off.

Overall this is a buy for me, I enjoyed this demo alot and will probably play it alot more before the actual game comes out later this year.

Turning Point...Fall Of Liberty?

Hey guys,
I just wanted to share with you quickly my thoughts on this demo. The demo is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace as of this morning. This may possibly be the greatest demo to ever be released on the Marketplace. You start of at the top of a building under construction with planes flying around and shit blowing up everywhere. The sound in the game is absolutely astonishing, the sound is definately one of the games strong points. As you descend from the building with stuff blowing up everywhere you eventually climb through area's until you get to throw some dude off the room and steal his gun, and then the gun play begins.... The demo has a great way of introducing you to its gun play. The first guys you get to shoot at, are para shooting down so u get to see them die in mid air. The graphics in this game are nice, not prefect but definately passable. Character models are crisp, but the gun models are a little nasty, they could look better. One of the coolest things you get to do in the demo is.... you get to set off the fire alarm! Ya then the sprinklers go off and blaw blaw blaw. By the end of this demo I thought to myself wow! that's probably the best demo I've ever played, so do yourselves a favor and check this one out!

I Can Has Recon?

For those living under a rock, there is armor in Halo 3 that we are not yet having. There are several theories related to the recon armor, the most prevalent one being that it can only be given to you by Bungie.
For those who wish to search more into the subject, there is a whole movement of Halo 3 gamers working on many other hints and clues within the game itself and given by those who have the armor in the game already.

My hunt for recon has been renewed with finding out that my color scheme (orange and sage) looks really sick on the recon armor.

MISSING: REWARD IF FOUND

So, if anyone with information regarding how to unlock this armor in campaign please come forward and help us here at Random Bloggings, we really would appreciate it. If I have to post a list of current recon owners (and no, not all are Bungie employees, or famous suiciders). Macbook Air...

Hey guys,
I was checking out Apple.com for announcements on the Mac World '08, and found a couple of cool things.

Obviously the biggest new announcement was the Apple Macbook Air. They're paper thin, almost UMPS kind of portable laptop. I like the idea and it looks really interesting, seeing as it uses Wifi in ways nothing has used it before. I don't like the fact that it does not ship with an optical drive, but I do think the idea of wirelessly using another optical drive on a Mac or PC, is a cool idea. But it is not ideal, seeing as you do not always have access to another computer with an optical drive. Although great for travelling with, I feel as though with no optical drive, it would be rather difficult to travel with, even though it is small enough to fit almost anywhere. I see this laptop being used by buisness men who need to work or students who need a laptop to take notes, but for general use, you will need to buy the attaching optical drive, which will take up the USB port on the laptop. I think apple kind of fell short with this idea, seeing as gaming and video editing are what I like to do, this laptop can do neither without the attachment, and if I purchase the attachment I will not have a USB port to use... So I will probably pass on it. Nice try though Apple.

The next thing that caught my interest was the additions of Maps and notes and many other cool applications for the Ipod Touch, and the addition of customizing your home screen on both the touch and the Iphone, thats pretty cool!
As for the movie rental service comming to Itunes, I guess thats cool, but I don't often purchase anything from Itunes but it would seem to be an interesting addition.

Bottom Line, there really wasn't anything really interesting that came out of Apple this year, but I can see it being exciting for some people.

Back From Cruise

Hey guys,
Yup the CES 2008 sucked for Microsoft, there saving some of the bigger stuff for E3 (what a surprise). Anywho i'm back from my cruise actually flew in yesterday but I felt like shit. The flight back sucked, because I was sick and the captain made the decent to fast my ears almost started to bleed, I couldnt hear anything until this morning, it was painful. But other then the fact that I am sick, and I couldn't hear, I really enjoyed my vacation. I NEEDED a vacation, between beta testing, working and school, it was becoming to much for me to handle. Since I did not register for college this semester i'm looking out for a job to make $$$$, so I can go on vacation more often. And so i'm looking into working beta testing for Ubisoft montreal, full time I have to go in and talk with the teams and see if it sounds good or not.
Anyways I'm working on a video of my vacation i'll post up a link when i'm done.

Working Again!

So I got this new job with a company that just started here in Hopkins called Primo Inc.
We do call center work in home vacuum sales. Yes, I am an evil telemarketer, boo... hiss.
Now that I have taken care of that for you, really good job, nice hours and bonues every week and all sorts of chances for a raise, so suck it!
We work mostly from referalls, but since we just opened we are relying on cold calling, which sucks cause you get alot of people hanging up on you.

Well, thats pretty much it, me working means less time for Xbox 360, but my schedule is very nice in that I get most of my nights off leaving me more time to play games!

Oh, and Scotty.... GIMME A ZUNE!!! (no i will not stop)

Shame On You Xbox Live

Twice now in 2 weeks Xbox Live has had crippling outages. At this point I dont think an arcade game is gonna be very cool with anyone... especially if it ends up being Yaris 2:Revenge of the Gas Spiders.
This isnt working Microsoft, you should have known that the holiday season would be a time of huge growth for the service and yet you didnt prepare.

Last Post Before Vacation

Today is Saturday and i'm wicked excited today we fly out to Miami to start our crazy vacation but after a long day of packing its time for me to catch some sleep. So I will not be posting for the next week and a half about after I come home and settle in and work on the ton of video footage I will have, I will post up a link to my vacation photos / videos as soon as I can. I will have my laptop on me but will not have access to Wi-Fi, the boat wifi is too expensive and I hear it is very slow, so I wish everyone a good week, and keep kickin ass guys.

Hey All,
I can see that Don really loves me right now hehe, whats with the hate Don? I'm finally back at home but not for long i'm spending the time throwing together my montage and puttin some music i keep stored away on my desktop onto my Zune, and I finished the 58 song setlist in Rock band band world tour mode, i'm really happy about that it took me pretty much all day, i'm here until Saturday at around 2, then i'm outta here for a week and a half no blogging no twittering no nothing but when i come back i will throw together awesome videos of my trip,I wish all of you guys a happy new year!

Back From Boston...

So it is today December 30th, 2007 and the year is twindling down in fact tomorrow night is New Years Eve... But Anyways it is now 12:10 in the afternoon and I am just finished packing up to leave from the Mariott In Burlington, Mass. And its about time for me to go back home and check my e-mail's and stuff like that. I do have big news from the weekend a deal is being put in place between me and a site by the name of techbugtv.com, they would like me to be the first of upcomming "video reviewers", and have agreed on sending me five free games every two weeks to review, and i will start after my cruise next week. Speaking of cruises O man am I excited for the cruise I am going on next week WOO next saturday I'm off to Miami, FL, to go on my seven day cruise i'm mad exited. There nothing much else to report other then tomorrow i'm going skiing at Mont-Blanc and then staying over at my friends cottage for the night ( Monday night ), Pretty much just to get wasted, and i will be back on Tuesday, till Saturday. So I think thats it on this Sunday December 30th 2007, c ya.

Well, at about 1pm CST on friday my 360 was brought to my door by the friendly FedEX guy, and I am so happy to have it back. I believe the repair center replaced all my guts and kept my shell, so as to give me the same serial as before, they could have been lazier for all I care, as long as it works!! BTW, it does, and I have to go back to it now.

Issue!

So, I wake up and check my shipping status on my Xbox 360 this morning, and what should I see? Well, its out for delivery! Except, its out for delivery in Mississippi!
WTF?!?!
Why in the hell is my 360 being delivered in Mississippi when I live in Minnesota?
I have emailed support with hopes for a quick response to my question, and if they dont have the answers I seek then I will be forced to once again call 18004MYXBOX to find the answers I need.
They best be prepared to overnight a 360 to Minnesota when I call too, cause this is some bullshit, I was all happy that my 360 was coming back to me so quickly only to have my heart sink when I saw this tracking BS at the FedEX website.
Don not be happy right now.

**UPDATE**
After and hour on the phone with xbox support, it seems that the service center reported the wrong tracking number to me. So, they will be working on getting the proper tracking number reported to me ASAP, which by their definition means tommorrow, but if its on schedule to be delivered tommorrow then it wont matter.

Repair Update

So, on December 14th my 360 arrived at its destination. Also, according to FedEX a label was printed for it to be shipped back to me, and on the 17th it was dropped at the local FedEX office to begin its voyage back to me.
So, now its scheduled here on the 21st, which means from call to return will be 2 weeks repair turnaround, which is pretty sweet.

All in all its been an alright experience, but what has yet to be seen is if my 360 now works, and how long it will work for... only time will tell.

Death In The Family

So, as I posted earlier, my Xbox 360 decided that it didnt want to read any dvds anymore... this means games and movies went into the 360 and it thought I had put in nothing at all. Well, needless to say I was pissed, and promptly called 18004MYXBOX.

After dealing with Max (the A.I. answering system utilized by Xbox support to annoy people) I got sent through to a very nice woman in India (probably, idk, I just get annoyed when I have to ask someone to repeat themselves several times throughout a conversation). She helped me troubleshoot the problem, which I had already done to some extent. First I tried Halo 3, then I tried The Simpsons game, then I tried a couple movies, nothing worked. She asked me to remove my hard drive and try again, so I did, then she asked me if my time was set properly.... ok, I guess if my 360 thinks its 1 minute sooner than it actually is it might decide not to play games, but my time is set by microsoft everytime I log into Xbox Live it gets the time directly from them. After I tended to her utter stupidity she decided that a repair would be nessecary, so we confirmed all my info and a box would be shipped to me in 3-5 days.

(Dec. 10th 2007)
5 business days later my box arrived, I promptly unhooked everything and made it look all pretty and made sure I did everything I was told, you get to bag your 360 up then put some foam pieces on the ends and then put it into a box with a sheet of paper where you have to check off some boxes to tell them what the problem may be. For extra fun I taped a piece of paper to the 360 itself with the reference number, my name and address, and the general problem that was happening. This isnt nessecary, but I have read that it can speed up the process, or at least make it harder for them to lose your 360 (its happened, I have read about it!).

(Dec. 11th 2007)
So I went to the UPS store and dropped my 360 off, making sure to get a shipping receipt as instructed to (this gives you a copy of the tracking number too, so you can watch your 360 in its journey into the heart of darkness). I then went home and continued to stare at the walls, as theres nothing I can do at this point.

(Dec. 13 2007)
So for a couple days now I have been obsessively watching my 360 travel, and getting quite pissed off at the results. Apparently it takesabout 14 hours to fly from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Kansas City, Kansas.

Then from there it took another 9 hours to reach Mesquite, Texas (an 8 hour drive, and this an air ship package).

Now, instead of directly going to McAllen, Texas they decided to send it to Houston.... ok, WTF?!?

At his point it has been sitting in Houston for about 12 hours... now ind you, its about a 6 hour DRIVE to McAllen at this point and its still an air package, so a 1 hour flight, maybe an hour and a half?

So, to this point so far, Microsoft has been awesome, no complaints...

UPS at this point is kind of pissing me off, as they are so inefficient that a trained monkey would probably schedule their time better.

Also, dont start telling me "its the holidays" because thats bull at this point, they were efficient in the delivery of my box to me but now they are going belly up, how hard is it to fly a package to Texas? seriously???
They could have gotten it there yesterday, GREAT! They could have gotten it there today, YAY?!? But at this point it wont get there till tommorrow, thats dangerous ground UPS, if they dont decide they cant get to it and wait til monday to fix it and send it back (or replace it, that would be better) I run the risk of not getting my shit back til the 26th, or perhaps the 27th... now for some thats not long to wait, but I like to play everyday, especially lately.

Also, if Microsoft decides that 3-4 weeks means 3-4 WEEKS than I will be really pissed, as I wont have it back toil after the new year.

Please, Microsoft, find it in your heart to give me a Christmas present a few days early and ship it back to A.S.A.P!!!

Jump Start The Blog!!!

I am here to breath new life into this blog, and hopefully Richard and Scotty help. This blog could be something great, and now that we are in a clan with aspirations of going pro we definitely hve something to talk about.

In recent news, my 360 died :( the disc drive said "I dont want to play your games no more" so I had to send it in for repairs, with the hope that it will be returned to me before Christmas. I also lost my job at Holywood video cause this douchemonkey Matt Munroe decided he didnt like me and 3 of my fellow employees and targeted us for termination. I currently have 3 job prospects that could turn into 3 jobs (YIKES) depending on which one offers me the most money coupled with the most hours, that will be my deciding factor.

Thats enough for now, I will post another blog documenting my repair process for those who have yet to go through the horrendous ordeal of your 360 saying "FU".

So... Whats Up?

So, its been a while since I have posted, and I think its about time. I have been rocking Crackdown, Im just hung up on a few of the harder achievements and I am really looking forward to the day when I will be able to download my Halo 3 beta, cause I am almost played out on Crackdown and need a reason to enjoy anything Halo related nowadays. I have also been renting some other games, trying them out then returning them quite promptly, I want to figure out games that I will really enjoy (and can get most of the achievements for) Once I get a list narrowed down, I will rent the games long term, or if I enjoy them enough I will probably buy them. So, Castlevania: SOTN is coming to the arcade this week, and I have been waiting for this release for a while now, and will be promptly buying this title as soon as I possibly can. Its the only Casatlevania game I ever really enjoyed in the past and look forward to going through it again on my 360. Other than that, not much going on, korns got to get his membership renewed to gold status and richard has his 360 in for repairs, but hopefully they will come play with me soon, cause I am lonely.... Hey!
Its been a while i've been really busy, with work and school and other things that i haven't really been able to post much on the blog, so whats new? i've been playing a lot of Crackdown. :) I've been playing around with Windows Vista which i got a while ago, but you know i havent posted in forever. Soooo other then that been working down some beta's and some games are really turning up good, Halo 3 Beta is almost fully polished so expect to see it some time soon -_-. Other then that i thought i would mention i will be spending a lot of time working for a little while, because i am accumulation 6 gran to go to florida with my brother at around christmas time this year so just so ya know i'll be working 30 hour weeks + school, so i wont be on to much. Crackdown, and Media Sharing

So, lately I have been enjoying the Crackdown demo, at least 2 times a day in fact. This game is awesome, I suggest trying the demo then immediately going to your nearest retailer and preordering it.


This is just a small sampling of the carnage you can inflict, I personally enjoy getting alot of upgrades and jumping around the city like spiderman, but the demo has a time limit, which I find annoying.



I have also Setup my 360 to share media with my comp, which means I can listen to all my music from my computer while playing my games, which is really cool, you can share videos too (only in WMV format) but I find it quite cool. Its fairly easy to setup, and I suggest doing it if you have your 360 networked with your computer, that is all for now, mopre some other time.... Peace Out, DT

Now The Proud Owner Of An Xbox 360

Ok, so I finally got a job, which meant it was time for me to buy my 360, I got it home installed it in minutes and I was ready to go! I migrated my gamertag and the first person to hit me with a message was korn, which was awesome, cause he was the one always saying "When are you getting a 360?" to which I would always stae "When I get a job".



I have been enjoying alot of new games, my job is at a Hollywood video, So I get free game rentals all the time. I own Chromehounds, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Star Trek Legacy, Lord of the Rings: BFME2 and now I just picked up Hitman: Blood Money.



I have a few arcade titles, and I must say, I finally understand the draw of playing UNO on your xbox. I also got my comp fixed, and this lovely new blogging extension for FF will allow me to post more often, so look for that. I dont know why Richard and Scott dont work on this anymore, they must have better things to do, but I will update as often as possible.

KK I got something done finally!

hey everyone!
A lot has happened over the past little while, lots of work with Microsoft. Now a beta tester i get to test a lot of kick ass games and now Richard hates my guts!:( But anyways, basically i've been flyin a lot these past few weeks so i'm sorry i haven't been doin anything, BUT I HAVE BROUGHT SOMETHING TO YOU! The Xbox Live Vision Camera Walkthrough. I've actually put something up on the site! for you guys to watch!!! i'm proud of myself. Theres been a lot of stress all over since the Halo 3 info was kinda leaked online -_-, so i've been rather busy BUT anyways. Good news too, finally can talk about how cool the Dashboard update tomorrow is going to be. YES I SAID 2MORROW! Well kept secret throughout Microsoft. hey everyone!

this blog isnt going very far very fast and i apologize i've got a bunch of videos i need to start working on, its been a little hard to do anything lately so hey, i'll update you on whats new, WELL, school started some weird stuff going on already, i feel like i've been saved by some guardian angel hehe. Let me explain why. Well yesterday i was planning on going out to a college after my high school day was over (or so i thought). I thought my day would be over at around 12:30, BUT i only got out at 1:55 SO, i decided well screw it i'll go and visit my bud some other time. WELL later on that day i saw that a shooting had taken place in that very college, someone barged in with an AK-47, and started to shoot everywhere. I thanked god i changed my mind, and i prayed for the best to all of my p.c. friends, and thankfully they've all pulled through. Tragedy, its almost scary to go to school nowadays, i love all you guys who pulled through it! and all those who are in the hospital you have my prayers! and the girl who died, i'm heartbroken and sorry and hope you have a great afterlife. Now that thats been said, lets move on, WELL school's goin alright, but as for news, i have a bunch of footage that will be going up soon! PGR3!Far Cry Instincts Predator, saints row!,Lego star wars 2!,and more! that i cant think of right now! New Halo 2 Playlist

Well, today bungie released a new playlist for matchmaking in Halo 2, its called Team Carnage. Its a 6v6 gametype with wierd settings for all games, created by the HBO community.
I know I dont post here much, but it seems the focus of this site has turned to the 360 and the games on that, so until I get mine, I will be posting very infrequently.

sorry for the lack of activity that you are probably used to, i've been very lazy, loll, well i got a bunch of vids on my comp but they need rendering and uploading, anyways, i cant start workin on it again till next week, when i go back to my mums house. Anyways, to the stuff that really matters, before i went to sleep last night(this morning(5:00)) i rendered a quick video of a co-op mission, Richard and I went through that we missed by a hair!, anyways exciting stuff, so check that out, OH! i got Dead Rising yesterday, very good game!, exept there's a little weird flaw in the saving system, but hey, check it out! i'll be gettin vids of that up soon i actually recorded a part of the game last night where i drove to this place with explosives in truck and its like a VERY big underground parking lot, and you take a motorcycle and you just topple over zombie after zombie after zombie. Off To Florida.

well as i've mentioned in the past i am going on vacation in about 4 hours or so, i'm headin out to Florida, all the way from Montreal, it will be about a 3 day drive, for us, but i have Wi-Fi capabilities on both my father laptop, and my PSP, i will probably be able to post up pictures and stuff of my vacation but it also means that there will be no game capturing for a little while, hang in there, when i get back though i will be getting Galaga, and also thinking about getting Dead Rising, so look out for some footage, anyways i'm out i'm gonna go and pack a few more things up play a bit more xbox then i'm off.

Lots Of Time!

hey everyone,
Here's an update on whats goin on. Well today we played a bit of GRAW, Richard and I, while i tried to take a video of Chapter 2 content which we may retry tomorrow, and my Xbox 360 froze then we pretty much socialized in Private Chat while i played on my Xbox (Not 360). I am actually uploading new vids as i'm typing, so its like i'm multi-tasking only, i'm not really. Uhh more personal news, WELL, today I went out to go and try out some contacts finally, BUT i only got 4 and a half hours of sleep last night so i was pretty much dead, i couldnt get my eyes open, so i'm going to try again on monday. Also i have plenty of time on the box, and site, now that my girlfriend is now off to Wildwood, New Jersey, wish her a great try! Next item on the list.... Well i haven't really done much for the LOTR BFME2 review but rest assured i will right one. Uhh new content on Marketplace, well Thursday was a pretty big day, with the Oblivion DLC (The Vile Lair) and the LOTR BFME2 Demo. As well yesterday(Friday) there was an Uno auto-update which fixed some matchmaking issues. Hmmm..... i think thats about it, then again i'm to tired to think. Anyways look out for vids tomorrow and the whole video site structure fixed to recognize the Reviews section.

I'M BACK!

hey everyone,
yay i'm back from my VERY hecktic week, just to find myself in a few days of hell, well i get back from a hell of a week camping, and since i'm cool, i'll explain a bit of it, well first night i got there by train to find my mum, bro and one of my mum's friend's daughter waiting for me, my train overshot the station(LOL) and ya well they had eatin stirfry and the beansprouts had a syringe inside, so they had to go to the hospital. OK next day had a thunder shower where a bolt landed very close to us and made a VERY LOUD CRACKING NOISE, and then if that wasnt enough the next night, we had a HELL of a thunderstorm, instead of 1 lightning bolt at a time, there were 3, it was pretty crazy, anyways thats enough about my weekend, now, to the hectic week, i have to get up early 2morrow to get contacts 9:00 to be exact, then 9:30 the next day to go somewhere then i'm having buddie's over hopefully for a halo 2 LAN party. So ya, it will be a crazy week. Remember i said about an interview with xbox's Major Nelson, i think i'll hook up an interview with Ross Erickson, he manages the Xbox Live Arcade, i think it will be easier to get one with him, anyways...
GOOD NEWS!!!!
right now as i'm typing in this quite lengthy post i am rendering the Prey Xbox 360 Demo level video, with an intro that will be placed in all of our forthcomming video's. The demo is absolutely incredible, it will be one of the must buy's for me this summer remember July 11th, thats very soon mark it on your calenders, i did notice some short-commings though, i tried the online multiplayer, and i found it quite bad with lag, it doesnt handle it as well as i'dve wished, and the framerate dips quite often, but those to me are minor issue, concidering the quality of gameplay in it. Next, i did talk to Ross, really quick this afternoon, and he told me that there will be an almost constant rate of 1 XBL arcade game a week for a little while, this week will be Frogger. So look out for it. ^_^, make sure to check the blog for info about the prey demo vid, i will post up when it is posted on the video site.

hey everyone,
i know how you all are WAITING for good news and AH i found some, i've finished (Kind of) the video site update? i guess? i added a bunch more vids, like A BUNCH, you gotta go check it out NOW!!!, some little bugs and colours are off but rest assured those will be fixed, BUT probably not for a little bit unfortunately until next tuesday my week's a bit packed... ok REALLY packed, i have prom on wednesday, then thursday i'm goin camping until tuesday. But once tuesday comes i'm open, and will be takin vids of G.R.A.W. Chapter 2, which i downloaded the other day, i will also have vids of some new XBL Arcade game ready. My 360 blog (still uhh creating?) AND News!

anyways, i saw Richards and i totally stole his idea cuz i think its kool and hey my achivements are pretty good when i rent games i get alot of achivements out of the way and guess what? this weekend i'm gonna rent a game, hehe i'm thinkin hitman blood money 360, other good news, hmm RVB special on the 360 i'll get the whole thing up on the net in the comming week when i have nothing to do, schools out du 11:30 2morrow, and thats sick, uhh i'm also gonna put up the REALLY long new quest realesed on the marketplace for Oblivion, its really cool, despite the fact that its really long, anyways i think thats it, Screenshots page is commin along slow and i think i may include some PS2 vids next week including, jak 2, jak 3, god of war and more. Anyways i think i will leave on that note.

Daxter Gameplay vid

Well look to the right i'm going to put it up there again, this time its a little bit of Daxter PSP gameplay footage, once again the quality's pretty bad but Richard seems not to mind the non clarity, its a great vid, i think it give you a good taste of how the game is, now the cam's not upside down its hangin off my shoulder hehe anyways sick sick check it out. Thats about it, oo but i can say i'm working on a screenshot gallery for the site. OO and another quick announcement, i am going to hopefully have an interview with Xbox Live's Major Nelson, sometime in the future, so loook out for that.Cheers,

PSP Vid Up.

hey guys,
For now its over on the right side that'll change very soon, its also REALLY low quality, which as soon as i get something to put it on the TV, i'll be makin more PSP vids, i think i'll make more with my webcam even though it picks up alot of the sound around me, and its really low quality, i do apologize i did make a gameplay vid also, that looks as bad, but hey, its still showin the game, this is my favorite PSP game to date, being a big Jak and Daxter fan, soo ya, check it out, i think thats it as for the video blogs, i've been gettin lazy, what else is new, but ya thats about it.

Great news our new video site is up and coded it took me a whole day, and i had just finished it at about 1:30 in the morning and Blogger had some maintenance so i went to bed well here i am today and i will provide and edit the link to:

No more s, i thought it would be easier if i started with a fresh account becuz of all the new files, some more great news, early yesterday Microsoft released a PUBLIC Windows Vista Beta, so everyone has to go and check that out. finally after a long week of working with school, me with a game engine, and the site vids, we've pretty much got all the formats in place, vids goin up fast and impressions going up even faster by the end of the day you all should expect to be given at least a link to a partly finished section, if not finished, after i'm done all the E3 stuff i will be working on a template and some new banners for the site cuz its to plain, i think thats about all, but i will not be workin full time on the site cuz i have alot to do, like the game engine, and i rented Battlefield 2 Modern Combat 360 that i wanna play quie a bit of, but ya thats about it. Im going to move away from our E3 coverage for a second or two.

Well, today, sometime before 7:30 AM PST, Apple Computer Inc. released the new Intel iBook, now named the MacBook. Starting at $1099.99, the MacBook is available in two colors, White and Black, and in 3 different configurations. It now comes standard with a built in iSight camera, iLife '06, and FrontRow, and sports a new Intel Core Duo processor. Just like the other MacIntels.

In switching the iBooks to Intel chips, Apple only leaves one PowerPC based Mac standing. The PowerMac G5. When that will change, is not known.

Hey, I still do things around here...
Saw the Halo 3 trailer, and it blew my mind! I cant wait to see more as the great people over at Bungie continue to develop this game.

I have also been watching the coverage over on G4TV of all the happenings so far at E3. Gears of war looks to be a really awesome game, with great graphics and a gritty look to its people and landscapes. I also saw the Call of Duty trailer, another beautiful game, very gritty (it is a WWII game).

The future looks good for anyone who owns (or plans to own) an Xbox 360. Many great games are being shown this week. Forza 2 is another game shown at the Microsoft press conference. Now, I am not much for the simulated driving type games, I like arcade-type racing myself, but this game looks really good. Realistic cars, tracks, everything... just really crisp all around.

Do we here at Random Bloggings love Microsoft?? Not nessecarily, we just like the games and content produced for their system.... Sony, can just wither away and die, cause at $499-$599, I aint going near that thing, especially after having two of their last system die on me... not cool Sony!

As for Nintendo.... Metroid looked nice, as did Zelda (which also looked nice in 2005... and 2004) but that controller is a bit too "out there" for me to even attempt to understand

hello everyone it seems as tho i'm the only one who actually looks after this blog nowadays, can either Richard or Don post something? god loll, anyways i actually do have an update a good one too. You ready...? ok here it is, i'm working currently on making VIDEO REVIEWS, w00t w00t. I've actually attempted one but that ones not goin up i'll probably have one up by the weekend. Other then that today i found out there will be new Call Of Duty 2 maps available over XBL marketplace at 400 microsoft points soon. They are also in the middle of updating or something, there in maintenance right now and have been ALL day, and i'm hopin it'll get up and running again :(. Also those damn PDZ maps were supposed to come out at the end of April and they never did, i'm not to happy about that loll. OO and last but not least E3 is in 1 week everyone 1 god damn week, anyways, thats it for me, Cheers.
