Update :)

Hey Everyone, today i'm commin at ya in like 45,000 different parts. SO lets get Started.

Yesterday I went to Cornwall to visit my grandparents, because they moved and I wanted to see their new house and since i'm out of a full time job and not partaking in a semester I had a good amount of time off :) So while I was bored on the train I took a few Pictures.

hehe, guess what I was playing on the train...?

So then I get to Cornwall and you know I looked at their house and while we were talking I get a phone call. It was from EB Games, my buddy Chris over there calls me and tells me they got 3 DS's in, and i'm like no WAY urgh had to be while I was gone, luckily he put it aside for me to pick up this morning, which there not supposed to do because its a system thats high in demand and very low quantity, but ya. So of course this morning, I went to pick it up yay NOW ONTO Advance Wars!

Next I just wanna let you all know I have all sorts of new games, I picked up a bunch this week, earlier on I picked up Battlefield 2142 off EA story, Direct download, and then I picked up The Matrix Online off Direct Download, despite the bad reviews its a pretty good game, only it took like 4 hours to upday -_-, and then this morning I picked up Supreme Commander(PC), and C&C3(360).

Last issue of buisness since this videos gonna be like 3/4's of the page I decided to add on a little footage of GH 3 We Three Kings on Hard, it was going towards another video so I decided to just upload the whole raw gameplay.

Turok Demo FINALLY Available on XBLM

So, the Turok demo is now on the marketplace in North America, and what a great game this is shaping up to be! The graphics are beautiful and aw-inspiring. The sound is really good also, with voice acting sounding nice, and all the other stuff is up to par too (guns, walking though puddles and such, dinosaurs).

The guns are what I enjoyed the most, you can pretty much dual wield anything your dark heart desires...

SMG+PISTOL? Yes!

SMG+SMG? Yes!

SMG+SHOTGUN? Yes!!

SHOTGUN+SHOTGUN? HELL YES!!!!

To make you drool some more, the shotguns are automatic, you hold the trigger and those puppies fire till empty.

Not to be forgotten, you have a knife and a bow/arrows in your arsenal as well. The knife allows for some brutal up close killing when your feeling a little nasty.
Gameplay is fun, you get to go around in these caves, then you run into some dinos, you get to kill them, then you make it outside for a couple bigger battles.

I limited decriptors for those who dont want their demos ruined for them, thats very basic... I could go into detail, but I wont.

So, try this one out, it doesnt dissapoint... unless you expect every demo to come with multiplayer function.

On a side note, I started using my personal blog again, after 2 years away. Its got some other functionality that I liked, and I will try and blog her and there at least twice a week a piece.

Chernobyl.

Ok... Im stuck, in Chernobyl, with an M21 and a silenced USP .45. I have exactly 20 minutes to evacuate, and there are 4 Mi-8 Hips bearing down on me, with several tangos dropping from the back. Oh yeah.... did I mention the infinite amount of enemies spawning in front of me.

If you couldn't tell, the game I'm talking about is Call of Duty 4. the game that was touted to be better than Halo 3. It lives up to every bit of that statement, and beyond.

Lemme just go quickly through a run down here. The games starts you off as a guy named 'Sopa' McaTavish, who is fresh out of the British SAS selection. Your first mission, and subsequent mission deal with finding several surplus Russian nuclear warheads, bound for the Middle East.

Act I of the game also throws you into the shoes of Sgt. Paul Jackson, who happens to be part of the Marine 1st Force Recon. As Jackson you are sent into the Middle East to capture Kaled Al-Asad, who is attempting to do something really bad. During the assault on the capital city where Al-Asad was supposed to be, you and the rest of your squad are takes with rescuing a stranded M1A2 Abrams tank. Close to what appears to be the end of the conflict, a AH-1 SuperCobra is shot down, and you are tasked with rescuing the pilot, having just heard the alarming news that a nuclear device may be in the city. After rescuing the pilot, the nuclear warhead is detonated. and you and the rest of your squad, along with your CH-56 SeaKnight are downed.

A chilling scene follows, where you, as Jackson, are still able to crawl from the remains of your downed chopper. Looking around all you see is an eerie orange and the bodies of your comrades, strewn across the ground. To your right, a building crumbles. But as you turn toward the left, the immediately recognizable form of a mushroom cloud looms off in the distance. You stand, and walk towards it, only to fall victim to radiation poisoning. End of level, and of Paul Jackson.

This game managed to surprise me in ways I didn't think were possible. Anyone thinking of purchasing it, do so. NOW!

Plus, who doesn't want the chance to operate an AC-130U gunship as it orbits high above the battlefield, raining down shells of doom.

More Demo Winsauce!

So, the Devil May Cry 4 demo was released on the marketplace today, I have already tried it out, and I must say it is a beautiful game. The graphics are very nice, and the sound is awesome. It has a rock soundtrack with some otherworldly sounding music mixed in for ambiance. Very fun gameplay, with very intuitive controls, you can do an assortment of moves to banish demons back to hell.
There are 2 modes of demo play, a boss battle and part of a level.
I was just blown away by the overall experience found in this game, its very fun to play. Once you get used to the way you can work out combos its enjoyable to mix it up and see what kind of moves you can pull off.

Overall this is a buy for me, I enjoyed this demo alot and will probably play it alot more before the actual game comes out later this year.

Turning Point...Fall Of Liberty?

Hey guys,
I just wanted to share with you quickly my thoughts on this demo. The demo is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace as of this morning. This may possibly be the greatest demo to ever be released on the Marketplace. You start of at the top of a building under construction with planes flying around and shit blowing up everywhere. The sound in the game is absolutely astonishing, the sound is definately one of the games strong points. As you descend from the building with stuff blowing up everywhere you eventually climb through area's until you get to throw some dude off the room and steal his gun, and then the gun play begins.... The demo has a great way of introducing you to its gun play. The first guys you get to shoot at, are para shooting down so u get to see them die in mid air. The graphics in this game are nice, not prefect but definately passable. Character models are crisp, but the gun models are a little nasty, they could look better. One of the coolest things you get to do in the demo is.... you get to set off the fire alarm! Ya then the sprinklers go off and blaw blaw blaw. By the end of this demo I thought to myself wow! that's probably the best demo I've ever played, so do yourselves a favor and check this one out!

I Can Has Recon?

For those living under a rock, there is armor in Halo 3 that we are not yet having. There are several theories related to the recon armor, the most prevalent one being that it can only be given to you by Bungie.
For those who wish to search more into the subject, there is a whole movement of Halo 3 gamers working on many other hints and clues within the game itself and given by those who have the armor in the game already.

My hunt for recon has been renewed with finding out that my color scheme (orange and sage) looks really sick on the recon armor.

MISSING: REWARD IF FOUND

So, if anyone with information regarding how to unlock this armor in campaign please come forward and help us here at Random Bloggings, we really would appreciate it. If I have to post a list of current recon owners (and no, not all are Bungie employees, or famous suiciders). Yes, we know who you are, we are just giving you a chance to share some wisdom, or cryptic clues with us.

Macbook Air...

Hey guys,
I was checking out Apple.com for announcements on the Mac World '08, and found a couple of cool things.

Obviously the biggest new announcement was the Apple Macbook Air. They're paper thin, almost UMPS kind of portable laptop. I like the idea and it looks really interesting, seeing as it uses Wifi in ways nothing has used it before. I don't like the fact that it does not ship with an optical drive, but I do think the idea of wirelessly using another optical drive on a Mac or PC, is a cool idea. But it is not ideal, seeing as you do not always have access to another computer with an optical drive. Although great for travelling with, I feel as though with no optical drive, it would be rather difficult to travel with, even though it is small enough to fit almost anywhere. I see this laptop being used by buisness men who need to work or students who need a laptop to take notes, but for general use, you will need to buy the attaching optical drive, which will take up the USB port on the laptop. I think apple kind of fell short with this idea, seeing as gaming and video editing are what I like to do, this laptop can do neither without the attachment, and if I purchase the attachment I will not have a USB port to use... So I will probably pass on it. Nice try though Apple.

The next thing that caught my interest was the additions of Maps and notes and many other cool applications for the Ipod Touch, and the addition of customizing your home screen on both the touch and the Iphone, thats pretty cool!
As for the movie rental service comming to Itunes, I guess thats cool, but I don't often purchase anything from Itunes but it would seem to be an interesting addition.

Bottom Line, there really wasn't anything really interesting that came out of Apple this year, but I can see it being exciting for some people.

Back From Cruise

Hey guys,
Yup the CES 2008 sucked for Microsoft, there saving some of the bigger stuff for E3 (what a surprise). Anywho i'm back from my cruise actually flew in yesterday but I felt like shit. The flight back sucked, because I was sick and the captain made the decent to fast my ears almost started to bleed, I couldnt hear anything until this morning, it was painful. But other then the fact that I am sick, and I couldn't hear, I really enjoyed my vacation. I NEEDED a vacation, between beta testing, working and school, it was becoming to much for me to handle. Since I did not register for college this semester i'm looking out for a job to make $$$$, so I can go on vacation more often. And so i'm looking into working beta testing for Ubisoft montreal, full time I have to go in and talk with the teams and see if it sounds good or not.
Anyways I'm working on a video of my vacation i'll post up a link when i'm done.

Working Again!

So I got this new job with a company that just started here in Hopkins called Primo Inc.
We do call center work in home vacuum sales. Yes, I am an evil telemarketer, boo... hiss.
Now that I have taken care of that for you, really good job, nice hours and bonues every week and all sorts of chances for a raise, so suck it!
We work mostly from referalls, but since we just opened we are relying on cold calling, which sucks cause you get alot of people hanging up on you.

Well, thats pretty much it, me working means less time for Xbox 360, but my schedule is very nice in that I get most of my nights off leaving me more time to play games!

Oh, and Scotty.... GIMME A ZUNE!!! (no i will not stop)

CES 2008 Keynote

Really... it was about an hour shorter than scheduled. No product announcements. Nothing, just a lame video about Bill Gates and some lame shit. Topped off with a Guitar Hero 3 battle vs. the actual Slash.

Shame On You Xbox Live

Twice now in 2 weeks Xbox Live has had crippling outages. At this point I dont think an arcade game is gonna be very cool with anyone... especially if it ends up being Yaris 2:Revenge of the Gas Spiders.
This isnt working Microsoft, you should have known that the holiday season would be a time of huge growth for the service and yet you didnt prepare.

Last Post Before Vacation

Heyguys,
Today is Saturday and i'm wicked excited today we fly out to Miami to start our crazy vacation but after a long day of packing its time for me to catch some sleep. So I will not be posting for the next week and a half about after I come home and settle in and work on the ton of video footage I will have, I will post up a link to my vacation photos / videos as soon as I can. I will have my laptop on me but will not have access to Wi-Fi, the boat wifi is too expensive and I hear it is very slow, so I wish everyone a good week, and keep kickin ass guys.

Back At Home.

Hey All,
I can see that Don really loves me right now hehe, whats with the hate Don? I'm finally back at home but not for long i'm spending the time throwing together my montage and puttin some music i keep stored away on my desktop onto my Zune, and I finished the 58 song setlist in Rock band band world tour mode, i'm really happy about that it took me pretty much all day, i'm here until Saturday at around 2, then i'm outta here for a week and a half no blogging no twittering no nothing but when i come back i will throw together awesome videos of my trip,I wish all of you guys a happy new year!
And whoever added that Achievement Unlocked, your awesome! I love it!
